So.. It's been a while, I know. I've been getting used to things. But a lot has happened these past few weeks:
I was bored..
Abducted by aliens..
Only slightly inappropriote..
and turned 19!
Alright so nothing has happend, sue me. But I have had some highlights: my birthday was suprisingly good, thanks to my friends, Sidney and Ryan got me a beta fish and a new thermos. I got 50/50 on my first Literature analysis paper, wish I was good at something useful like math or science but I'll take what I can get. I got hot chocolate supplies so I will be ready when the real cold weather sets in. I discovered the pool, swimming laps is soho much better than running. I got caught in the middle of a zombie vs. humas attack, it was terrifying, don't try it at home. It's been drizzly all week, which I'll probably be sick of in a week but for now I actually love it.
So there it is, college isn't all its cracked up to be, everyone says you'll be soo busy, but you're really not, just do your reading, and pass the quizzes and you'll be fine. LISTEN TO ME SMALLS...sandlot reference. Ta-ta everyone.

Things Are Heating Up...
So I am proud to say I've been lockout free for almost two weeks now... can you say seasoned college student? Actually I put a sign for myself right above our doorknob that says, Robyn, ROOM KEY. Issue, terminated. But my RA did give me a free lockout coupon just in case it maybe happens again. It won't.
I was thinking about friends the other day, and how I should make some, but then I realized, hey, I've made at least one new friend for every week I've been here. That is decent, I don't care who you are. I'll give you only their first names to protect identities, but I do know their last names, which I think constitutes friendship: Emily - third floor of my building, nice girl that likes weird stuff like me, like going to true aggie night just to feel out the vibes, NOT to become true aggies. Chase - Ryan's roommate that interveins when mine and Ryan's discussions get heated, just weird enough to chill with us but still normal. Peter - kid that sits by me in Physiology and eats with us sometimes, it's coming along nicely. Rome wasn't built in a day people.
Can not wait to go home this weekend and see my crew! Don't even want to think about the fact that I only get to spend two days there, and the fact that I have two exams and a paper due when I get back. Shh, we'll pretend it's summer again. :)

Issues...
Well, got locked out for the third time today. It's a serious problem, I need help.
#1: Sunday (day after I got here) went to the basement to watch a movie with some kids, got locked out
#2: Tuesday (yesterday) went to the bathroom to wash my face, thinking as I went out the door, "Should I grab my key? Nah, I'll just leave the door open a crack." NO. Come out, door shut. In this situation I have two choices, call the lockout guys and pay the after hours price, or... wake up my roommate... I proceeded to pound on the door for the next five minutes. She is an insanely deep sleeper, good to know for future incidents. Worst roommate of the year award goes to..
#3: Wednesday (Today, yeah two days in a row) ten minutes until class, got my backpack loaded up, feelin' good, immediately after the door shuts I realize I'M THE WORST. No time to fix it, gotta get to English, guess I'll skip lunch because I don't have my student card either. Came home around twelve thirty and waited around doing some homework in the kitchen until about two, when I look up and see my roomie heading to the bathroom. And she left it open a crack... score. I slipped right in and played it off like I just got home. Cuh, no of course I didn't get locked out again.. that would be dumb.

This was me, PomPom things and rude words included

I Guess it's Official
I'm in college, four days now. Its not as bad as I thought, I'll admit. I haven't made very many friends yet, but give me a minute okay, I'm antisocial as it is. But I met this kid Ryan Moon, he's kind of weird but I can't be picky right now I guess. Just kidding we're pretty tight by now, bookstore runs, wal mart runs, etc. Plus his apartment is a little bit classier than my cell in the towers plus... roommates. That's all I'm gonna say about that. So I spend a lot of time there for obvioius reasons.. There is a lot to do here, I haven't really been bored, suprise. But question: what is there to do on Sundays around here?? pff nothing. Not yet anyway.
Look how grown up I look
As far as classes go, I have Literature, which I am really looking forward to, just a lot of reading and discussion, but a really good professor. Fun stuff. Then I have Nutrition, also interesting so far, I only have to go once a week and the rest is online, cross my fingers I will not procrastinate. Hardest class... any guesses? Freaking Human Physiology, a storm is coming, it's me. But seriously, there are kids in there that were like, "yeah, this is my third time taking this class.." No, I am taking it once, and I'm gonna kick it's trash. I have to do it for Nursing, what can a girl do. Last I have Psychology, also sounds really interesting, tight professor, seems like a laid back guy.
ONE of my books for Physiology

Food... eh, compared to high school, obviously better but it's still cafeteria style, nothing compared to eating whatever and whenever you want at home. Freshman fifteen, not so much. Unless I wake up every morning thinking about Aggie Ice Cream like today, in which case I could give myself diabetes in a matter of weeks.
That's all for now folks, at the college scene, lol
